About this event

Flycasters Conservation Program Kickoff

Join us for an exciting Conservation Program kickoff event!

  • Flycasters members enjoy the sport of fly fishing and we pledge to preserve our cherished fisheries through active volunteer support.
  • This program is designed to further our commitment to conservation and ensure that these natural resources are protected for generations to come by working closely with our conservation partners.

Featured Guest Speaker: Mark Rockwell

We are honored to welcome Mark Rockwell, former president and long-time conservation chair of the Northern California Council of Fly Fishers International, as our guest speaker. Mark will share insights on the history of conservation within the fisheries of Northern California, discuss the important role Flycasters of San Jose has played from the club’s earliest days, and inspire us with ideas on how we can foster and enhance our contributions moving forward.
